The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is a single-seat, twin-engine fifth-generation supersonic supermaneuverable fighter aircraft that uses stealth technology. It was designed primarily as an air superiority fighter, but has additional capabilities that include ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence roles. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is the prime contractor and is responsible for the majority of the airframe, weapon systems and final assembly of the F-22. Program partner Boeing Defense, Space & Security provides the wings, aft fuselage, avionics integration, and training systems.

Three F-22 Raptors we're seen in Olympus Has Fallen.

Olympus Has FallenEdit

Two F-22 Raptors we're seen checking out the C-130 Hercules aircraft flying close to Washington, D.C.. F-22 pilots told the pilots on the C-130 to divert their route. Then the mini-guns on the C-130 fired at the F-22 Raptors. One pilot was killed when his craft was shot down, but the other manages to eject and warned control that the C-130 is hostile. His fighter crashed on top of a house.

The third Raptor took off from Andrews Air Force Base and went to Washington when the C-130 was attacking Washington. As the Raptor jet was in range, the pilot requests to control to fire at it and the control tells the pilot to fire at will. The pilot fires it missile at the C-130 and hits it on it's tail, causing it crashed it's wing on Washington Monument and the fuselage to crash into the National Mall.
