Nigel Whitmey (born February 23, 1963) is a Canadian-born British actor who played Canadian Prime Minister Robert Bowman in London Has Fallen.
Biography and career[]
Born in Peace River, Alberta, Canada to emigres from Liverpool, England, United Kingdom, Whitmey attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in the mid-1980s and has acted primarily in British productions.
One of his earliest TV roles was in sketch comedy series Jeeves & Wooster (1993). Whitmey's film appearances include roles in Saving Private Ryan (1998) and The Fifth Estate (2013).
